"Measure to discover, to find out, to understand. Measure to see if you are showing up. Measure to see if you are actually spending time on things that are important to you." - James Clear
Most importantly, just show up. In the beginning, the single more important thing is showing up; it is even more important than succeeding. Because if you don’t show up, there is nothing to measure, there is nowhere to go, there is nothing to work towards. Recognize your effort to show up. One of the most motivating things that you can experience is evidence of your progress.
Recognition of your efforts to show up supports you when limiting beliefs enter the picture. When a limiting belief comes along to say “you can’t do this” it is important to recall the work and how you have shown up thus far. Find evidence in support of your progress, evidence that is concrete and already happening in your current reality.
