Module 1: Identify Your Feelings



Before addressing a conflict, it's essential to recognize and understand your own emotions. Use the following steps to identify and name your feelings:


1. Pause and Reflect: Take a moment to pause and reflect on what you are feeling. Pay attention to any physical sensations or changes in your body.
   
2. Name Your Emotions: Identify the specific emotions you are experiencing. Are you feeling angry, frustrated, hurt, or disappointed?


Here are some common emotions that arise with conflict:



3. Acceptance: Accept your emotions without judgment. It's normal to feel a range of emotions during conflicts.
